EMPI VW 12 Volt to 6 Volt Inline Voltage Drop Resistor

EMPI's 12 to 6 Volt Resistor drops 12 volt power to 6 volts so that older 6 volt accessories such as wiper motors or radios can be used when you've converted your VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Bus or Type 3 to 12 volts.

The 12 to 6 voltage drop is wired inline, typically after the fuse box, on the wire that supplies the 6 volt accessory.

We recommend soldering the resistor inline and mounting it to sheet metal, away from any other wires as the resistor will get hot.
