Product Description
The Bosch 04008 VW Ignition Rotor pushes on to the distributor shaft inside the cap. The rotor spins around inside the cap where it contacts the center post which gets power from the coil and sends power to the individual spark plug posts on the cap. The ignition rotor fits original distributors in 1965 through 1968 Beetles and Karmann Ghias, 1964 through 1968 Type 2 Bus models and 1964 through 1973 Type 3s.
