VW Oil Cooler - Doghouse - 1971-79

The oil cooler on the VW aircooled engine regulates oil temperature, which makes it very important to the health of the engine. If it does not function properly, there is no way to shed excess heat, which will burn the oil that lubricates the engine. The improved design "doghouse" style oil cooler was only used in late model VW Type
