Stock Axle Beam is a stock replacement Type 1 (Standard Beetle, Karmann Ghia) Ball Joint front beam. 

These front beams are shipped in large crates from the manufacturer.

There may be minor imperfections such as chips, dings, and blemishes on the black, painted finish that occur during shipping.

These imperfections are considered normal and are purely cosmetic in nature. 

They have no impact on the performance of the beam whatsoever.
