The VW Lower Brake Fluid Reservoir installs at the top of the master cylinder, pressing into the rubber grommets at the top of the cylinder. The two ports to the master cylinder are 100mm (3 15/16") apart. The reservoir has a single inlet that points straight out the front and supplies the reservoir. The brake fluid reservoir is a direct replacement for 1969 through 1970 Type 2 Bus models. 1968 Bus models may have to modify the feed hose from the upper reservoir
